What is fluid - based TLC technique?
Thin-cytologic Test TCT (THIN-cytologic Test TCT) is a new
cytological diagnosis technology developed in recent years, which
changes the shortcomings of the previous Pap smear detection
method. After the specimen is taken out, it is washed into the cell
preservation solution immediately and made into uniform thin-layer
smear after programmed treatment. The abnormal cells in the thin
section are easy to observe, and the fixed nuclear structure is
clear and easy to identify.
Thin layer cytology detection (TCT) is an ideal screening tool for
cervical lesions and a replacement technology for traditional PAP
smear (PAP).

Liquid based TLC machine can be widely used in cervical TLC,

cell TLC. Specimens are collected by brush, impurities are
separated by gradient centrifugation, and then the effective
components (cells and bacteria) are prepared by centrifugation or
natural sedimentation, so that the cells are evenly without
overlap, and the ultrathin layer is adsorbed on the glass slide for
microscopic examination or computer reading.
